This listing is that toolkit already written to a USB stick, with an Xbox-to-USB PCB adapter in the box so you can plug it straight into a controller port.
The payload runs on a custom build of the PrometheOS menu.

Installation
Difficulty: Moderate. No soldering, no console disassembly, no tools — but you are modifying system software, and you should read the documentation before you start. Time: 30-60 minutes including backups.

Compatibility
Read this section carefully before ordering — this is a softmod tool, not a plug-in part, and compatibility depends on your console's software state as much as its hardware.
De grens die iedereen tegenkomt: 4 GB. De Xbox leest een USB-stick als geheugenkaart, en dat werkt alleen bij sticks van 4 GB of kleiner. Grotere sticks worden meestal gewoon genegeerd. Een SD-kaartje in een USB-lezer werkt opvallend vaak wel, en dat is een handige uitwijkmogelijkheid als een stick niet herkend wordt.
Je hebt hier geen mod voor nodig. Een standaard console met het originele dashboard herkent zo'n stick vanzelf: onder Memory verschijnt een geheugenkaartje naast de console. Is de stick nog niet in het formaat van de Xbox, dan wist het dashboard hem en meldt dat. Aansluiten vóór het aanzetten helpt bij twijfelgevallen.

Frequently asked questions
Will this brick my Xbox? Softmodding carries risk. Take an EEPROM backup before you touch anything — without it, a bad HDD lock state is very hard to recover.
Do I need a modchip?
Is this legal? The toolkit is intended for legal use only. Using softmodding tools to circumvent copyright or other laws is prohibited.
What is Insignia? A community replacement for the original Xbox Live service. The Setup Assistant on the stick configures your console for it.
