Installation
Difficulty: Easy. Tools: Torx driver for the housing screws. No soldering. Time: 15-20 minutes, most of which is opening and closing the case.
The buttons sit in the front bezel and come out once the top housing is off. Clean the seats while you are in there — trapped dust is often what makes a button feel sticky in the first place.

My eject button does nothing at all. Then your problem is probably the switch or the PCB behind it, not the button plastic. Look at Original Xbox PCB Power and Eject.
My power button feels mushy but works. That is usually grime in the bezel seat. Try cleaning before buying.
