A genuine Original Xbox front controller port assembly — the module carrying two of the console’s four controller sockets. These take a beating: a Duke gets yanked out sideways, the breakaway connector wears, and eventually a port goes intermittent or dead. Rather than reflowing a damaged connector, swap the whole module.
Electrically the Xbox controller port is USB in a proprietary Microsoft housing, with an extra pin for the memory-unit/expansion slots — which is why USB adapters for these controllers are as simple as they are.

Installation
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. Case open (T20 Torx), remove the DVD drive and HDD for access, unplug the old port module from the motherboard, fit this one, reassemble. No soldering required. Around 30 minutes, mostly reassembly.
Compatibility
Fits all Original Xbox revisions: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.6b.
Works with all Original Xbox controllers, including the original Duke, the Controller S, and third-party pads. Memory units and other expansion accessories plug into the top slots as normal.
