The metal bracket that locates the DVD drive inside an Original Xbox. It’s what keeps the drive square to the chassis so the tray clears the front bezel cleanly and doesn’t drag or catch. Consoles that have been opened a few times often turn up with this part missing, bent, or with a stripped screw hole — and a drive that isn’t held properly will rattle, mis-track, and eventually eat its own tray mechanism.
This is a genuine Microsoft part pulled from a donor console, not a reproduction.
